The sources are implemented as single board, embedded RF devices, which provide all the necessary RF and control features, needed for the realization of capable microwave generators:

• Generation of the MW signal, which drives the solid-state power amplifiers
• Control of all parameters of the generated MW signal – frequency, amplitude, phase and timing, in different modes of operation – CW or pulsed, stand-alone or synchronized with other sources
• Processing of all input and feedback signals, both internal and external, essential for the successful implementation of all vital functions, required for safe and accurate operation of the MW generators
• Executing control, protection and application algorithms
• Implementing various external control and synchronization interfaces
• Implementing a rich set of API commands
